ADULT COACHING
Adult coaching takes place every Thursday evening from 5.15pm with Club Coach Colm McNeice. Colm has vast experience and knowledge of all things squash and is a highly respected member of our coaching team. New and current members are welcome to attend to practice racquet skills, ball drills and movement techniques. There is opportunity to learn or reacquaint oneself with the rules of squash and to pick up tips on how to improve your game. There is a nominal fee of €3 per session.
OPEN NIGHT
Open night was relaunched in 2013 and has proved hugely successful in attracting players to the club. Open night continues to run every Thursday evening from 7.30 in the clubhouse. All level of players are welcome. Players can play as much as they want and will have the opportunity to play opponents of different capabilities- it may be a very tight game or you may have the opportunity to teach a club member a new technique or alternatively be taught that new technique yourself.
Self service refreshments are provided for in between games. There is a €2 fee. Circuit training for adult members is being introduced this season and will run before open night at 7pm. This is a great opportunity to increase your fitness levels and warm up your muscles before going on court for open night. Please contact Kevin Povall on 086 378 2531 for more information.
BECOMING A MEMBER
Ballina Stephenites Squash Club is always open to new members at any stage throughout the year. Membership fees fall due in January of each year.
